The Biographical Profile Of Bishop Zachary Operton

Bishop Zachary Sebastian Operton is the Founder of Prince of Peace Christian  Fellowship Church with his wife Dr. Rosalind Operton Serving as Co-Founder, a ministry of more than 150 dedicated to building God’s Kingdom one family at a time. His life is dedicated to living by example and encouraging men and women how to live up to their full potential in Christ.  Bishop Operton Began his pastoral journey at the age of 18 1983. Traveling from Selma Alabama to Hanceville Alabama. He has more than 36 years of pastoring and started his spiritual walk with God at the age of 12 and preached his public sermon on the second Sunday in August 1977 for 42 years of ministry he has been teaching, counseling, and preaching which has enable him to reach others with humor, warmth, transparency and strength. He is a husband, Father, author, teacher, conference speaker, role model and mentor.

Bishop Zachary Operton is a native of Birmingham Alabama the fifth of five children born to the late Mrs. Earnestine and the late Robert L. Operton. After graduating from Birmingham Public Schools, where he received his formal education, he attended the Historical Selma University of Selma Alabama, returning back to Birmingham attending the Birmingham Baptist Bible College where he received His Bachelors of Arts Degree in Pastoral Theology. He broadened the scope of his education with further studies at the Beacon School of Religion Samford University of Birmingham. Bishop Operton continued in distance studies at Trinity School of Religion earning a Masters of Theology. In the year of 2000 he earned his Doctorate of Divinity from the Faith Grant Seminary school of Religion in Birmingham, Alabama. Bishop Operton decided to move toward secular education, receiving a Bachelors of Arts degree Psychology Ashford University Clinton Iowa in 2010, earned his Master’s in Psychology, from Ashford University in 2013.

In 2017 Bishop Operton was duly Consecrated of God to the right office of Bishop in the Lords Church. Apostle Brian Keith Williams and Bishop Effel Williams Sr.

Bishop Operton Proud member of Kappa Alpha Psi Fraternity Inc. 1995 Birmingham Alumni Chapter, Active Member Meridian Alumni Chapter. Chaplain Meridian Police Department, Director of Pastoral Services East Mississippi State Hospital. Member International Conference of Police Chaplains Inc.


Bishop Operton is also the president of Z.O.E. ministries and the founder/Prelate Presiding Bishop of United in Christ Christian Fellowship of churches from across Mississippi, Louisiana, Alabama and California. The purpose for this fellowship is to further the Gospel and impact the body of Christ and empower leaders. Bishop Operton is married to the former Dr. Rosalind Christine Flanigan of Hanceville Alabama of 32 years. Two children Ketria and Joshua. Four wonderful Grandsons, Nathanial, Isaiah Elijah and Joseph.
